Description: The rooms are all of a very high 3* standard, and are unique in design and decor, with pieces of art adorning the walls. The rooms are all en-suite with large, comfortable beds, satellite TV, telephone and a writing desk and chair. These are amongst the best 3* rooms in the city. The restaurant is called Patat and offers a mixture of Malay, Dutch and Portuguese cuisine. Breakfast is also served in this ground floor restaurant, which is also a popular cafe with guests and locals. It is a vibrant and colourful, modern restaurant with plenty of seating and there is a bar at its centre. Built in 1930, the building is art deco in style, and has glass windows across the whole of the ground floor entrance and restaurant, giving it a very bright and pleasant look. A small lobby that is open plan, spilling onto the stylish restaurant area. The reception desk is immediately on your right as you enter the hotel. A bright and welcoming entrance. This is a very good 3* hotel and perfect for those wanting to be centrally located and to stay in comfortable, very good budget rooms. The restaurant serves great food and the bar is also good.
