The restaurant connects to the main courtyard. Its decoration is corresponding to the hotel's traditional architectures which creates a traditional dinning environment. The restaurant not only provides western cuisine, but also typical mouthwatering Peking dishes, such as Peking duck, dumplings, noodles, lamp hotpots, etc. While having meals, guests could watch cultural performances such as the Beijing Opera and the acrobatics arranged by the hotel.
It is built in a typical old Beijing architectural style with compound of quadrangle composing five courtyards. There are two stone lions sitting in front of the red door entrance, welcoming guests from all over the world. The lobby is small in size, located in the main courtyard. It is also decorated and furnished in a typical traditional Chinese style. This lovely property not only preserves traditional architecture, but also the quiet and artistic ancient way of life for guests to experience. There are Tea Houses in the Courtyard, studies of the ancient classics and an open area for Tai-chi and chess playing.
