Description: The air-conditioned hotel was built in the 1920s and comprises 492 comfortable guest rooms, 5 restaurants and 3 bars where guests can savour delicacies from all over the world. The lobby includes 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom and lift access. There is a newspaper stand, a café, a hairdressing salon and a TV lounge on site. Business travellers will appreciate the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access, available for an additional fee. Meanwhile, guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the car park or garage by the hotel. The hotel comprises 215 standard rooms, 166 deluxe rooms, 64 executive rooms and 47 suites. The Presidential Suite is the best room in the hotel and has hosted a range of state guests and business elite over the years. Facilities common to all accommodation include a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio, Internet access, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing set and a safe. The rooms are heated and feature individually regulated air conditioning units and a terrace. En suite bathrooms with a bathtub/shower come as standard.
