Each room has a writing desk and chair as well as satellite TV, mini bar, air-conditioning, in-room safe.The rooms are well appointed with all modern facilities. The hotel has a good choice of restaurants offering local and international cuisine. A good selection of fine wines is available, as is 24 hour room service. The hotel also has Colombo's only champagne bar. A large modern multi storey building in the middle of the city, overlooking the lake. The hotel lobby is a large open space with marble floor and luxurious decor with ample seating area. The long marble reception desk is next to the comfortable seating areas where guests can relax when checking in. One of the top properties in Colombo, the hotel is surrounded by ten acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. One side of the hotel overlooks the Indian Ocean whilst the other has views of the city's only lake. The hotel has the city's largest swimming pool, as well as a full equipped gym and health club.
