The hotel is one of the rarest and finest examples of a golden teak, Thai-style bungalow house and was awarded the prestigious Historical Architectural Conservation Award in 2005 by the Association of Siamese Architects (ASA) under the Royal Patronage. It stands as a small exclusive luxury beach hotel offering the charm of a traditional Thai aristocratic beach house. The hotel has a total of 21 guest rooms and features a lobby with a 24-hour reception service, as well as a hotel safe. There is an on-site café and WLAN Internet access is available to guests for an additional fee. Room and laundry services are provided, whilst guests arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel's own private car park.
All guest rooms feature genuine wooden floors and have been designed in line with the hotel's Thai colonial architecture. The atmosphere is cosy, quiet and serene and the rooms are all en suite with bathtub and hairdryer. Each room includes a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and a safe. DVD players are also offered in every room. The rooms have all been fitted with individually regulated air conditioning units and some rooms come with a private balcony.
The hotel features separate outdoor swimming pools for children and adults that overlook the beach front. There is also a poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use. In-house massage treatments, ranging from Thai to aromatic, are available for an additional fee. Massage sessions can be conducted either in the sala stations or in the privacy of guests' rooms. Those wishing to try their hand at beach volleyball may do so on the nearby beach.
