Description:
The rooms are small, and in good condition. They are tastefully decorated, and furnished and equipped to a good standard. There are no triple rooms available. No restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast room is on the ground floor. Built in 1850, this is a traditional, Parisian, "Haussman" style building. The lobby is open plan with the lounge and seating area. M. Murat was a famous soldier serving the Emperor Napoleon, and the décor of the public areas is in keeping with this theme. The impressive wood-panelled walls, carved furniture and huge frescos portraying epic battles, capture the mood of the whole period. This is a 3-star hotel, classified as a good, superior tourist-class property. The hotel is full of charm, and offers a warm atmosphere, steeped in history.
