Description: Recently refurbished, this is the longest established hotel on the rock, with more than 100 years of experience, and comprises a total of 60 rooms and offers a small garden. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned business establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and 2 lifts. It also offers a bar, a restaurant and Internet access. Guests may also take advantage of the laundry service. The rooms are comfortable and cosy and come with a private en suite bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer, as well as a telephone, satellite TV and a radio. They are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a mini fridge and a double bed. Double standard rooms are twin bedded. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside snackbar and sun loungers, as well as a sun terrace. PENOSO, aunque dicen que esta reformado, no es así, o se reservan las habitaciones nuevas para "determinados" clientes. El desayuno es lamentable, todos los yogures caducados, café solo soluble, huevos duros queso y choped. Las colchas de las habitaciones tiñosas y un olor en el baño rancio. Estuvimos, mi esposa y yo, dos noches: 4 y 5 de Enero de 2011 en el hotel Bristol de Gibraltar. A la llegada nadie te ayuda a sacar las maletas de coche. Y mucho menos a subirlas a la habitación. El recibimiento no puede ser más frío: - ¡Tiene que quitar el coche del aparcamiento de la puerta del hotel! -¿Pero el aparcamiento no es del hotel ? - Si, pero ya están cogidas las SEIS plazas (FALSO, COMO DESPUÉS COMPROBAMOS) La habitación, la nº 99, está en el 1º y da a la calle (RUÍDO DE COCHES HASTA LAS TANTAS).
