Location: Hotel Edda Vik - Myrdal - Vik 870 - Iceland [see map]
Description: The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. They are simple and modern in style with good quality, functional furniture. They are all in very good condition as are the small bathrooms. The restaurant is a modern, functional room which commands lovely views out towards to the distant sea. This is a modern purpose built hotel. The lobby is small. This hotel represents and ideal base for exploring the southern coast of Iceland being approximately equidistant from Reykjavik and Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajokull and the iceberg lagoon at Jokulsarlon. En general es una buena base para visitar las principales atracciones de la zona. En nuestro caso, nos tocó dormir en una de las "summerhouses" que están fuera del hotel. No estuvo mal, pero quizás no están tan bien conservadas como el edificio principal. [read more]
