Location: Ambasciatori Palace Hotel - Via Vittorio Veneto, 62 - Rome 00187 - Roma - Italy [see map]
Description: Rooms are 25mq , large in size with a small living area equipped with marble fireplace. They are decorated in pastel colour and equipped with Murano chandeliers and traditional precious furniture. The bathrooms are good and are fitted with marble. The breakfast room and restaurant are located on the 1st floor of the hotel. There is a grill/bar and a terrace restaurant used in the summer months, as well as a piano bar. This is an impressive, 6-storey traditional building, dating from 1903. It has an attractive columns and a curved facade. The lobby and public areas are spacious and formal, decorated with arches and ornate plaster work, and it boasts an impressive central staircase. There is also a bar leading off from the lobby. Se trata de un buen hotel magníficamente situado en la mejor zona de Roma(Via Veneto) En España quizá no alcanzaría las 5 estrellas (mi habitación individual tenia ducha pero no bañera y era más bien pequeña) pero esto es bastante habitual en los hoteles del "centro storico" que son generalmente de un lujo un tanto anticuado. Sin embargo la amabilidad del personal y la extraordinaria calidad del desayuno buffet (zumo de naranja exprimido, la mejor mermelada inglesa, fruta natural, cereales, fiambres, quesos etc) en un país en el que el desayuno habitual consiste en un capuchino y un croissant, compensaron sobradamente estas d...
