New York or the Big Apple is the most densely populated city in the United States. It is the worldwide center of fashion, the United Nation headquarters, a cultural city and known worldwide as one of the world capitals of economic dynamism.
New York has an atypical location, since the dynamic center of the city is located on a peninsula known as Manhattan. From there it is necessary to take public transport to get to the other districts of Harlem, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens or Staten Island, among others.
Located on the east coast of United States and of indigenous origin, New York gained great importance in the 18th century with the creation of the Columbia University, and later as the scene of the American War of Independence. The city, surrounded by the Hudson River, has since then become a global icon, a destination for many travelers and the residence of millions of nationals, and foreigners, as this city has a multitude of nationalities.

Tourism is one of the major economic bases in New York, and together with Madrid, it is considered a city that never sleeps due to the many activities that go on there. Places like Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Ground Zero, Empire State Building and so on, all of them are known all over the world and places with enormous business and tourist value. New York is also one of the cities with the most museums, including the important MOMA, possibly the most important collection of modern art in the world.
At night, the activities continue and tourists and local people gather together to attend theaters, many musicals, film premieres, nightclubs or visit trendy restaurants with some of the world's most glamorous people.
