- N- 547: connects Santiago de Compostela with Lugo
- Northwest Highway (Autovía del Noroeste) A-6: communicates Galicia with the rest of Spain, as it goes from Madrid to A Coruña, northeast of Spain. It can be access from Santiago taking the highway AP-9 towards the city of Betanzos, near A Coruña, or just taking the N-634 from Santiago, also in a northeastern direction.
- Highway of the Atlantic (Autopista del Atlántico) AP-9: connects Santiago with the cities of A Coruña, Ferrol, Vigo, Tui and with the Portuguese border.
- Highway AP-53: connects Santiago with Lalín, where you can take the road N-52 to Ourense, and then join the A-6 in its way towards Madrid.
