* Roads:
- From the West: the best way to get to Santillana from Asturias and the western provinces is to take Highway A-8 (Autovía del Cantábrico). From it, you can access the road CA-133 in the town of Puente San Miguel, and follow it until Santillana del Mar.
- By the Coast. From the west, you will access Santillana through road CA-133, passing by the towns of La Revilla, Comillas, Ruiloba, Cóbreces and Oreña. From the east, you will pass by the town of Suances, through road CA-351.
- From the South. Highway A-67 (Autovía de la Meseta) communicates Palencia, Valladolid and Burgos with Santander, until the town of Torrelavega. Here, you can take Highway A-8 towards Cabezón de la Sal and Oviedo. From this highway, you can take the exit towards Puente San Miguel, where you can access road CA-133 to get to Santillana del Mar.
