Travel Advice
The threat from terrorism is low.
Travellers are advised against all but essential travel outside the main cities of Brazzaville and Pointe Noire as there is some instability and risk of rebel activity in the countryside.
Residents of and visitors to the Republic of Congo are advised to register with the British Embassy in Kinshasa.
There was an outbreak of the Ebola-virus in the Mbomo and Etoumbi regions in May 2005.
