The Amanjaya Hotel Phnom Penh not even open for three months is already looking at ways it can offer better services to its guests, and is now in the process of installing wireless internet connections in the property, so travelers can remain connected throughout the hotel. This new hotel group has ambitious expansion plans for Cambodia and has already considered regional development. There next project is in Siem Reap, Cambodia where they plan to break ground to create a 50 room hotel in June, 2003. The hotel is located on the bank of Tonle Sap River. It is approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport. Located on the famous Sisowath Quay in the heart of the city, Amanjaya has stunning views of the Tonlé Sap river and Mekong delta, and is surrounded by the gems of the capital?s art and culture ? the Royal Palace, National Museum and Silver Pagoda are all within a few minutes? walk, along with a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. With only 21 rooms, this small property located on vibrant Sisowath Quay, along Tonle Sap and Mekong River is one of the finest examples of a boutique hotel in Asia. Rooms are beautifully designed with materials and handicrafts all hand made in Cambodia.
