Lovely village and simple solid apartments on two levels, clean, light, with big windows overlooking an old church, clean bathroom with good shower and kitchen, decent bed, recently decorated.  We arrived just before the season (june) and the place was just lovely i.e. quiet. Local eateries offer three courses and wine for 10 euros, with views of the river heaving with swallows picking up insects. Potes is a great base for nearby valley drives and good access to the mountains. Would recommend for family or friends.   [read more]
