Surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Ausseerland and the Salzkammergut, our apartment and family hotel Montana enjoys an incomparable south-facing location at the foot of the famous Grimming.

The hotel is the ideal starting point to visit nearby attractions, such as the Hallstatt World Heritage Site and the salt mines. There are many swimming lakes and beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the vicinity. Our hotel offers a hospitable and family-friendly ambiance that is ideal to relax and spend your well-earned holiday.

Our beautiful south-facing apartment hotel offers many leisure opportunities. In addition to a wellness area with sauna, solarium, relaxation room and fitness room, there are two play rooms for children and teenagers.

In summer you can enjoy the sunbathing area or the terrace with its wonderful view of the Grimming. The Tauplitz Alp boasts a unique mountain panorama with 6 mountain lakes and a view of the Dachstein glacier.

Our snow-sure ski area's downhill runs end 200 metres from the hotel. In winter we offer a free transfer to the slopes.

You can choose between spacious double rooms junior suites and fully equipped apartments for 2 to 8 persons. All rooms, suites and apartments feature one or two bathrooms with shower and toilet (sometimes separately).

Every morning you can enjoy a fantastic breakfast buffet with an emphasis on freshness and quality. There is a choice of several cereals and juices, coffee, 16 sorts of tea, and much more.

From 16 May to 31 October:
For your 4-course dinner you can choose between different restaurants in the village, with which the hotel cooperates. All these restaurants serve delicious dishes, and one of them is only 150 metres from the hotel.

From 27 November until the end of the skiing season a 4-course dinner is served in the hotel restaurant, with its nice view of the mountains. Every day you can choose between several local and international dishes.
