Description of the Hotel Astoria:

The hotel has 114 rooms. They are equipped with safety deposit boxes, fax and modem hook-ups and individually-controlled air conditioning units. On the eighth floor of the hotel, with magnificent views of the city, guests can make use of the gymnasium, sauna and an enticing terrace with a swimming pool and bar. Recently the hotel has opened a new exhibition with illustrations by the Catalan artist Ricard Opisso. This is a permanent exhibition that is held in the three main meeting rooms of the hotel. Other services include meeting rooms, a laundry service and room service. The guests can also come to relish a menu featuring traditional Catalan cuisine at the Astor bar and restaurant.

A splendid bedroom which has classical style combined with modern technology. It also combines antique pieces and works of art made by contemporary Catalonian painters like Miró or Guinovart.
