Description of the Hotel Astoria:

The hotel has 114 rooms. They are equipped with safety deposit boxes, fax and modem hook-ups and individually-controlled air conditioning units. On the eighth floor of the hotel, with magnificent views of the city, guests can make use of the gymnasium, sauna and an enticing terrace with a swimming pool and bar. Recently the hotel has opened a new exhibition with illustrations by the Catalan artist Ricard Opisso. This is a permanent exhibition that is held in the three main meeting rooms of the hotel. Other services include meeting rooms, a laundry service and room service. The guests can also come to relish a menu featuring traditional Catalan cuisine at the Astor bar and restaurant.

A splendid bedroom which has classical style combined with modern technology. It also combines antique pieces and works of art made by contemporary Catalonian painters like Miró or Guinovart. Rooms are soundproofed and contain facilities like Air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, fax and modem connection, safe and mini bar.

Fuimos por primera vez a Barcelona y nos parece muy excelente la estancia en el hotel Astoria; muy encantador trato por parte de los funcionarios del hotel, perfecta localidad cerca de la playa, limpio y con muchos detalles, muy recomendado por precio y calidad y confortables habitaciones con muy bien calefacción central. Mis niños han pasado fantástico tiempo en la piscina. Sin duda repetiremos.      [read more]
