Description of the Hotel Blaumar:

Renovated in 2006, this hotel offers a total of 250 rooms spread over 6 floors, as well as 28 apartments for families in an annexe building. The hotel provides a pleasant lobby which contains a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, a safe for guests' valuables, a lift, a café, a bar, a TV room, a games room with Nintendo consoles, and an Internet terminal. There are additionally 2 restaurants (one with a terrace) inviting guests to enjoy the cuisine. Guests may park their cars in the hotel car park. There is also a playground and a kids' club available for children. The room and laundry service as well as the medical assistance round off the amenities on offer. The annexe building is connected to the main building.

The rooms are fitted with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a telephone, satellite TV, a kitchenette with a fridge, a double bed, a seating area with a sofa bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a hotel safe and a balcony or terrace. Guests with a disability are requested to enquire before booking about the accessibility of the disability-friendly bathrooms.

Es un hotel estupendo, sobretodo la comida, con gran buffet de calidad, incluyendo marisco (cangrejo, almejas...) y muchos postres. Las instalaciones están bastante bien, pudiendote relajar en la zona del spa (gimnasio, sauna, jacuzzi y baño turco gratis). La habitación es grande, aunque como en la mayoría la calidad del colchón podría mejorar. La ubicación es muy buena, en una zona muy bonita de Salou delante del pase marítimo, muy tranquila por lo menos en Octubre cuando fui yo, en verano seguramente estará muy masificado. En defiintiva lo recomiendo, sobretodo para ir algún puente y en pareja o familia.   [read more]
