Description of the Hotel El Botanico:

Hotel Botanico is uniquely located in the residential area of Puerto de la Cruz at the foot of Mount Teide, where it enjoys extraordinary views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Orotava Valley. The sheer spaciousness of the bright and airy interior, combined with more than six acres of landscaped gardens, make it the ideal location for those who are seeking tranquility and privacy in an exclusive and green environment. The Hotel offers outstanding dining facilities in three a-la-carte restaurants; The Oriental for Asian style fine-dining, La Parrilla serving exquisite Spanish and regional delights and Il Pappagallo for the finest classical Italian/Mediterranean specialties. Light lunches for everyone's taste are served in the open-air in La Palmera Real near the main pool. Throughout the day coffee, tea and refreshments with the best pastries and sandwiches are served in the Lobby Bar; a sophisticated setting with views of the Hotels exotic gardens. An exclusive breakfast buffet is served daily on the terrace near the main swimming pool. For recreation the Hotel offers three heated swimming pools and a separate pool for small children. Two of the swimming pools, one indoor, are part of the thermal circuit in The Oriental Spa Garden. This beautiful Spa facility includes a cardiovascular gymnasium and is freely accessible for all guests as of 16 years of age. Oriental, slimming, anti-stress or other personalized health and beauty programs, can be reserved in advance or during your stay. Further sports facilities include daily free activity classes, two floodlit artificial grass tennis courts and a large golf putting green with bunker and driving range. Lush tropical gardens, exclusive boutiques and a first-class unisex hairdresser with manicure and pedicure. Private parking and a shuttle service to the center of town are offered free of charge. Every night live entertainment in the Lobby Bar. Additional information: Children age 1 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 2-11 pay Euro 62.00 per night plus 5 pct tax in the Ambassador Junior Suite. Double Deluxe Room: Children of ages 2-11, pay 25 pct per child of the parents' room rate and will be accommodated in their own inter-connecting deluxe room. No child discount applies between 26 Dec - 01 Jan. Children over the age of 11 will be considered an adult.
