Description of the Hansa Hotel:

It has 58 spacious, very comfortable en suite rooms, including family rooms and luxury suites, all with underfloor heating. Some rooms overlook pretty, well-maintained gardens. Each having an en suite bathroom with bath, some with separate shower, washbasin and WC, tea and coffee facilities, bottled mineral water, 15-channel TV, under-floor heating, telephone and internet connection. Dining room for breakfast and à la carte dinner and terrace for lunch, overlooking the inner garden. As Namibia's oldest hotel, and consistently one of the best, the Hansa has retained its 100-year old charm while providing present-day service and comfort. As you enter from the street you are aware that there is something special about this hotel. From the polished wood of the foyer to the pretty garden courtyard at the back, a welcoming atmosphere of charm and relaxed efficiency greets you. A short walk will bring you to the heated Olympic-sized indoor public swimming pool, the museum, lighthouse and Kristall Galerie, as well as several other good restaurants if you are here for a few days and would like to try an alternative to the Hansa's fare.
