The beach hotel was built in 2002 and consists of several buildings each with 5 floors over a 29, 000 square metre area and a total of 321 rooms. The hotel's facilities include a stylish lobby with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, 6 lifts (including glass lifts with views), several small shops, a newspaper stand, a café, a bar and an Internet terminal. Furthermore the hotel has an air-conditioned restaurant with children's highchairs, a bicycle storage facility, car parking facilities as well as a garage, a playground, a kids' club and a games room. A laundry service and medical assistance are available.

The debonair, air-conditioned rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, Internet access and a safe (for an additional charge). Moreover, each room contains a minibar and a fridge and is centrally heated.

Outside, the hotel possesses a wonderful, large landscaped pool area with 2 pools, separate children's paddling areas, a furnished sun terrace and a snack bar. In addition the hotel has an indoor swimming pool, a solarium, table tennis, aerobics, a gym, archery, basketball and bocce. For an additional fee there is the option to play pool and as well as tennis on one of the hotel's two floodlit tennis courts. The entertainment programme provides the cherry on the cake.
