Description of the Hostal Jayma:

This family-run hotel is situated in one of Salobreña's most typically Andalusian streets, just a 15-minute walk from the resort's beach and other sights.

Bask in the Spanish sunshine on the balcony or rooftop sun terrace at this homely-yet-contemporary hotel. Its great location means that you can enjoy a peaceful rest whilst still within easy reach of all that Salobreña has to offer, including its beaches and sports facilities. Friendly staff are on had to offer you advice on sightseeing in the local area, including trips to Granada and the Sierra Nevada.


The peaceful and warmly decorated rooms have either a balcony or a terrace (except the one for disabled guests).

Guests can make use of a gym located 100 metres away from the hotel. Aerobics classes are available 3 day a week (at an additional cost).

The hotel rooms are cheerfully decorated in traditional style with cooling, tiled floors and homely touches such as soft lighting and charming ornaments.

There is a coffee machine available in the hotel which supplies lemon tea, cappuccino and hot chocolate. The hotel does not provide a breakfast service, but we can recommend various cafeterias and restaurants in the area.

Salobreña is famous for its variety of cold and hot tapas and its pulpo a la Salobreñera: octopus. Some bars offer free tapas if you order a beer or a glass of wine.

Estoy acostrumbrada a viajar y estar en hoteles de estos de mas de 3 estrellas, por motivos de Ocupación en otros alojamientos tuve que reservar en este hostal de 2 estrellas y no sabía lo que podria encontrarme aunque ojeando por la red tenia buenas criticas, decidi reservar en septiembre de 2008 y mi sorpresa empezo nada mas entrar por la puerta de este alojamiento, para mi un hotelazo, la atención personalizada, el ambiente que se respira, la amabiliad, te llaman por tu nombre, la habitación muy muy superior a su categoría, con unas instalaciones que no tienen nada que envidiar  no solo a hoteles de 3 estrellas, la limpieza punto fuerte...   [read more]
