Description of the Hotel San Gil:

Built in 1901 in the Andalusian style and renovated in the year 2000, this hotel occupies a listed building and comprises a total of 61 rooms. Spread over 3 floors are 49 double rooms and 12 suites. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a beautiful inner courtyard, a lift and café. There is also a bar, a hairdresser's salon and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant available for use. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage (additional fee applies) facilities. Room, laundry and medical services round off the facilities on offer.

The elegant rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a minibar/ fridge, air conditioning, a double bed, a hire safe and central heating. The junior suites additionally include a kitchenette as well as a sitting area and the suites also come with a living room/bedroom.

On the roof of the hotel is a small swimming pool with views over the city as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use.

Aunque habia visto la ubicación del hotel en el mapa, pensaba que estaria mas cerca del centro caminando. habia un buen servicio de bus publico cerca. Nos gustó mucho las instalaciones del hotel, muy bonito. El desayuno continental, un poco pobre. Nuestra habitación tenia un fallo muy grande-- la salida del aire acondicionado daba directamente encima de la cama, sufrimos calor porque lo tuvimos que parar y no podiamos abrir la ventana por motivos de seguridad.
