Description of the Hotel Le Meridien:

All 233 soundproofed rooms and suites (15 of which are jnr suites) have been recently renovated and are a blend between modern and traditional, where classic materials are used in contemporary lines. The new "Meridien bed", the rain shower and the 42 inch plasma screen stand out for themselves. Individual air conditioning, interactive TV, safe, minibar, trouser press and iron board. There is also a 15 inch LCD in the bathroom, hair dryer and bathrobe. High speed internet access, tea and coffee making facilities are other features.
A specially designed carpet which features the street plan of the city's "Eixample" is an unique item which provides a feeling of Barcelona. Le Meridien's Cent Onze restaurant and bar combines the very best of French tradition and Catalan creativity under the 2* Michelin chef Michel Rostang. It has a capacity of 120 covers and offers two semi private dinning areas and an extensive wine list. This hotel has a renovated facade, with an excellent mixture of sandstone window arches and soft terracota coloured walls. The lobby is spacious and extremely elegant in decor, with fine highly polished marbled floors and an incredible reception desk made with fine white marble and superb carved wooden panels. This hotel, undergoing renovations on the facade and some floors, has incorporated a brand new fully equipped Fitness Centre and sauna. Business centre, 24h room service, parking and laundry service are available. Le Meridien is still the only hotel of its category located in Las Ramblas, and its unique position makes it an unforgettable experience for those who wants to be in the Gothic quarter with the maximum comfort and level of service . El hotel Le Meridien está ubicado en Las Ramblas de Barcelona, en pleno centro de la ciudad, las habitaciones son espaciosas, cómodas y están bien decoradas y disponen de todas las comodidades para un estancia sea agradable.los servicios y las instalaciones son perfectos(parking, gimnasio, restaurante,...)la atencion al cliente es muy amable, el personal es muy simpatico, la relacion calidad precio es muy buena, volveré seguro.   [read more]
