Description of the Hotel Palacio Eugenia de Montijo:

This deluxe hotel, which was once owned by the Empress Eugenia de Montijo, was renovated by a prestigious team of architects, archaeologists and restorers. The result of the refurbishment is a marvellous Renaissance palace where the three cultures that lived in Toledo can be appreciated in different parts of the hotel. The air-conditioned building comprises a total of 40 rooms, of which one is a suite, two are junior suites, and three are disability-friendly rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, and lift access. Further facilities here include a café, a shop, a bar, a breakfast room, and a restaurant. Also available is a conference room, a public Internet connection, and a W-LAN access point (charges apply). It is possible to take advantage of the room and laundry services (charges apply) as well as the bicycle storage room. Remaining parts of the original façade and structure were meticulously restored during renovation work. All guests will find relaxation in the luxurious spa, and Adolfo Muñoz, the most renowned restauranteur in Toledo, offers fine cuisine for the most refined palates.

The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, and a double or king-size bed. Further fittings provided as standard include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an Internet connection, a minibar, a hire safe, and carpeted flooring. The heating and air conditioning are individually adjustable.

There is a gym area with a sauna, Jacuzzi, and massage offerings within the hotel. The nearest golf course at Layos is located some 17 km from the hotel.

Me ha parecido un sitio muy bonito y elegante, excelente trato por parte del personal e instalaciones muy limpias. El restaurante del hotel, Belvis, me pareció maravilloso, tanto la presentacion y el trato del personal, como por la comida tan exquisita que sirven. Hotel muy recomendable.   [read more]
