Description of the Parador de Cambados:

Recently renovated, this historical hotel is housed in the Bazan ancestral home, which dates back to the 17th century. It comprises a total of 58 rooms spread over 3 floors. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the Ria Arousa estuary, as well as the traditional cuisine of Galicia. The splendour of the surrounding native vegetation will immerse guests in the atmosphere of a typical fishing village. The charming centrepiece of this typical 17th century country house is its attractive inner courtyard. Presided over by a fountain and a palm tree and an attactive arcade, it competes in brightness with the pleasant bedrooms and offers an air of tranquility with its swimming pool and the clarity of its façade. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a lift and a café. It also offers a TV lounge, a restaurant, conference facilities and WLAN/Internet access. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services for an additional fee and there is parking available for those arriving by car.

The rooms feature classical furniture, solid stone columns and wooden ceilings and beams. All of them come with a fully fitted bathroom with a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a minibar. They are also equipped with centrally regulated air conditioning and heating and a safe, and some have a double bed.
