Description of the Parador de Cazorla:

The hotel, which was renovated in 2006, offers a total of 34 rooms spread over 3 floors. The building revives the tradition of the typical Andalusian country house, and indeed this is the distinguishing feature of the exterior. The interior features a pleasant living room with a chimney, and is characterized by the natural daylight which pours in through the large windows. It comprises a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facility and lift access. A café, bar, restaurant and TV room all feature, as do room and laundry services. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car. Younger guests may take advantage of the playground.

All the rooms feature either twin or king-size beds and are decorated in a rural style. Guests can enjoy the wonderful scenery from their room windows or relax and enjoy the tranquillity and harmony. The rooms come with an en suite bathroom, minibar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, safe deposit box and a welcome package. Central heating is also included in the rooms.

The swimming pool comes complete with sun loungers and offers impressive views of the nature reserve. Whilst taking a refreshing dip, guests can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, the stunning views and diverse wildlife, including deer, foxes and squirrels. A Jacuzzi and table tennis also feature. It is also possible to go for walks or bike rides near to the hotel, as well as participate in horse riding or 4x4 excursions around the nature reserve. The nearest golf course is at Linares, located some 85 km away.

Deberían especificar mejor la ubicación del parador y concretar que se encuentra a veinticuatro kilómetros de Cazorla y que, además, tiene otro nombre.     Quizás debido a las altas temperaturas de este verano, en las  habitaciones hacía mucho calor, resultando insuficiente el ventilador.     En dos ocasiones que hemos hecho reserva en Paradores, hemos tenido problemas con la misma. Se ha subsanado en recepción pero como haciéndonos un favor.   [read more]
