This hotel, built in 1962 and renewed in 1996, has a two floors building
with a total of 36 double rooms and one single. It offers a restaurant,
an assembly and banquets hall and a parking. Being the only existing
building within the Park, the Parador offers the exclusive opportunity
to spend the night in the middle of this extinguished crater.
The Parador, located in the natural crater of the Gorges of the Teide,
at more than 2,000 meters above sea level, invites the guests to
contemplate impressive panoramic views on the cone of the Teide, the
Chaorra boiler and the mountain. It is located 70 km. from the capital,
Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The beach is 50 kilometres away. A public
transport stop is only 200 meters away.
The Parador is located in the National Park of Las Cañadas del Teide.
You get there through the roads leaving from La Orotava, La Laguna,
Chio, Los Cristianos or Granadilla. From the South Airport Reina Sofía,
take the TF-1 towards Granadilla-Los Cristianos. The next exit is
Granadilla-El Médano-San Isidro, where we will turn to enter San Isidro
all straight up towards the municipality of Vilaflor. Carry on this road
towards Las Cañadas del Teide, and the Parador is just opposite Los
Roques and the Valle de Ucanca.
