The historical structure was built in 1750 as a residence. It was home to famous writer and philosopher Chateaubriand and was transformed into a hotel in 1815. Now it is one of the oldest buildings of that type in Paris. Since 1922 it is owned and managed by the same family. During its long history the hotel has welcomed many famous figures such as Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir and J. Greco. Enjoy the cozy rooms and public areas and the friendly, personal attention of the multilingual staff. The Hotel Pas de Calais offers you the 3 stars calm and comfort of its 40 rooms recently renovated.
