Description of the Hotel Pazo da Trave:

The hotel occupies a historic country manor that dates back to 15th century. The building has been lovingly restored and heavily influenced by a single artist who has adorned the garden with modern sculptures and the inside rooms with countless paintings and frescos. The charming hotel comprises a total of 18 rooms spread over 2 floors. As well as a lobby area, the hotel also offers its guest a cosy library with an open fireplace, a billiards room and an inviting restaurant. Guests are also offered room service. For an additional fee, there is also a bicycle hire service on offer.

The pleasing rooms are each designed with a historical and elegant ambience in mind. In-room facilities include an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, a balcony, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, minibar/ fridge, hire safe and central heating.

The hotel affords a garden area sprawling 3,000 m² and featuring fruit and vegetable growing patches, a chapel, a swimming pool and a tennis court. On payment of an additional fee, guests may also wish to use the sauna area and a small gym.

Es raro tener opiniones tan distintas sobre el mismo sitio. La mia coincide con una muy negativa que he leido y pienso que si el servicio que le dieron fue parecido al mio, se queda corta. Sitio precioso donde ya había estado hace unos años comiendo y salí muy satisfecho. La última comida que hice allí el 08/08/2008 fue sencillamente deleznable. Servicio lentísimo, si no lo pides no te cambian los cubiertos entre plato y plato (es la primera vez que me pasa en un lugar de estas características) los pescados muy mal de punto (unas vieras mal descongeladas y pasadas de punto, una lubina tambien pasada de punto y un solomillo con foie que era un...   [read more]
