Description of the Hotel Pestana Palace:

Built in 1998, this hotel is spread over 3 floors with over 190 rooms of which 173 are double rooms and 17 are suites. The previous Valle-Flôr palace has been returned to its former standard through much attention to detail. The original façade (dating back to the 19th Century) has been restored to its former brilliance and the successful combination of history and modern technology in this hotel is evident. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, a lift and a café. In addition, there is a bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la Carte restaurant available for use. There is also a conference room and a public Internet terminal to be used within the hotel. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities. Room service, washing and medical treatment complete the offer.

The stylish rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a hi-fi stereo system, Internet access, a minibar, a double bed, tiling, Air conditioning, central heating and a safe.

El hotel está genial, habitaciones amplias y muy limpias y el servicio estupendo. Donde es bueno se compensa con estar en pleno centro. Tienes todos los autobuses a 5 metros de la puerta del hotel y muchos restaurantes, bares de copas, tiendas, etc. Saludos.     [read more]
