The Protea Hotels Self Catering Resort Nwanedi is set in the riverine forest area below the Nwanedi and Lupepe dams, at the foot of the `Mountain that blows`. Situated approximately 50km south of Beit Bridge, this is the perfect location en route to and from Zimbabwe. The resort is also within comfortable traveling distance from the Kruger National Park with the Pafuri Gate 105km away. A year-round sunny climate, game-viewing on horse-back and an indigenous Venda kraal add to the attractions. An a la carte restaurant is on hand for meals, with excellent conference facilities available. The Lhuphepe a la carte restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the lounge is ideal for pre-dinner drinks. In addition to the standard a la carte meals, special menus can be arranged to suit your requirements: e.g. banquets, braais, picnics, teas and biscuits or scones. Working sandwich meals can also be provided.
This resort is situated within the 9000 hectares Nwanedi Nature Reserve in the northern foothills of the Soutpansberg and set in the riverine forest area below the beautiful Nwanedi and Lupepe dams.
