Description of the Hotel Stella Maris:

This hotel was extensively renovated in 2002 and offers modern interiors and a total of 90 rooms. Facilities on offer include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, where currency may also be changed. Culinary options include a restaurant with highchairs available for children. Further facilities include a bar, a games room, a wireless Internet connection, a laundry service, and a bicycle hire service. For a charge, guests arriving by car may make use of the parking facilities.

The rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences and offer guests ideal accommodation facilities. They all come with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, and a hire safe. A balcony or terrace offering lovely views out over the surrounding area and central heating are also provided in all accommodation units as standard.

Guests are offered access to a swimming pool and a separate children's pool in the well-maintained grounds. The pool area is surrounded by a sun terrace where sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use. Sports enthusiasts may also enjoy a game of table tennis or billiards.

I stayed at the Stella Maris hotel with my fiance from June 30, till July 3rd. The staff was great, helpful with all of the things to do in the area. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs and the customers. The hotel is very clean and nice, but some of the decor seems to be from the 1970's. The bathrooms could use an update. We only took advantage of the food included in the hotel one day. It was quite expensive to drink coke or water in the inclusive kitchen.
