Hotel Nikko Sansui

Located amid Nikko’s beautiful nature, Japanese-style inn Nikko Sansui offers an indoor and outdoor hot spring bath and Japanese meals. Serene Japanese rooms overlook Chuzenji Lake and come with personal attendant service. The lake is a 3-minute walk. Sansui Nikko hotel is an 8-minute walk from the spectacular Kegon Waterfall and a 20-minute drive from the ancient Nikko Toshogu Shrine. JR Nikko Station is a 45-minute bus ride away. Guests at hotel Sansui can enjoy peaceful fishing at the scenic lake, or unwind in a soothing hot spring bath, which is separate for each gender. Drinks vending machines and free parking are on-site. Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor with a low table and seating cushions. A shoji sliding screen opens to seating area with chairs and a coffee table, with lake views. Personal attendants lay out traditional futon bedding in the evening. Amenities include a TV, a fridge and yukata robes. All rooms have a washstand and an attached toilet, while bathroom facilities are shared. Guests must check-in by 17:00. For breakfast and dinner, a Japanese meal is served at the dining room, which offers views of Chuzenji Lake.
