Located on the outskirts of Mount Fuji, on the western end of Lake Yamanaka, Guesthouse Hiiragi offers charming Japanese-style rooms where guests can watch Houkou-sai Fireworks Festival through its windows in August. The property has a public bath and a shared lounge area with sofas. The property public bath is open between 08:00 and 09:00 in the mornings, and between 15:00 and 23:00 in the afternoon. Each room comes with traditional Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) flooring. All rooms have air-conditioning and heating facilities as well as a TV. Bathrooms and toilets are shared for all rooms. From the guesthouse, the picturesque Oshino Hakkai Springs are within a 10-minute drive north. The popular Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is a under a 20-minute drive and Tokyo Haneda Airport is a 2-hour drive away.
