Hotels from the SBH Hotels & Resorts chain


SBH Hotels & Resorts was founded in 1984 with the opening of the SBH Taro Beach Hotel in Costa Calma. The SBH Monica Beach Hotel was opened in 1985 next to the SBH Taro Beach Hotel.

The company continued growing with the acquisition of the Nautilus Beach Hotel and Costa Calma Beach Hotel, current SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort. In 2001 was opened the SBH Costa Calma Palace Hotel, flagship of the company, located in the centre of Costa Calma Beach.

SBH Club Paraíso Playa Hotel was the first one located out of the Costa Calma Area in 2002. It was built in the Esquinzo Beach, between Costa Calma and Jandía. The expansion plans of the company in 2004 leaded the purchase of the Maxorata, Ventura and Tamango hotels, current SBH Jandía Resort, in the Jandía Area.

The acquisition of the Crystal Beach Hotel in 2006 closed the properties of the Costa Calma Beach Area in beachfront. SBH Royal Mónica Hotel was opened in 2014. It is the first hotel manage by SBH Hotels & Resorts out of Fuerteventura, in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
