Welcome to Penygawse and the lovely town of Llandovery. Lynne and Allan Stather bought the premises in March 2004. The building is a grade II listed building built in 1725 and was host to a drapery store and most recently a butchery. The canopy dates to 1855 and is protected through CADW as it is of significant historical interest. The guest house is centrally located and within walking distance of several restaurants and licensed premises. All rooms have been fully re-fitted to include en-suite facilities and TV/DVD/CD as well as tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary bottled Welsh water and chocolates. Please be aware that we are unable to accept payment by card and would kindly request settlement of bills by cash or cheque upon departure. We have 7 letting rooms: Family room - sleeps up to 6, Double/kingsize rooms, Twin/superkingsize rooms, Single rooms
