4My opinion about this hotel North Star & Premier Club SuitesIan - Dec 22, 2014
I have stayed in before in this hotel, normally I would get a room with a double bed, but unfortunately on this occasion I got a room with one single bed. The room was somewhat depressing and small, there was a small 14" TV which you could barely see from the bed. The heating system was extremely noisy, I had to use the portable oil filled radiator provided instead, this seen better days also. The bed was comfortable and the room was to the rear of the hotel at the end of a long corridor, meaning there was little external noise or passing noise on the corridor. On arriving back to the room, my door key wouldn\'t open the door heading towards the accommodation, I went to reception, and he scanned the card again, this did not work so I had to go back to reception, on this occasion he scanned the card again, and came with me. He said to me... see it always worked, I felt this was inappropriate, the card genuinely didn\'t work. The card worked fine on the bedroom door but it didn\'t work after I came back to room after breakfast in the morning, I had to get the cleaner to let me into the room. The bathroom was small but adequate, the water was hot and had adequate pressure. The breakfast was good had everything you would need for a breakfast, the room was a little uninspiring as it was on the Lower ground floor, and had no windows. I would stay here again provided i din\'t get the same room.
