Excellent location

Choose your room

The rooms vary in size but are all in good condition. They have been well decorated and have attractive wooden furniture as in the lobby area. 6 rooms are equipped with a sofa bed, and can be used as a triple room. There is a very nice breakfast room in the basement of the hotel. This is a traditional Parisian style building The lobby is medium in size and offers a captivating "literary" feel, due to the magnificent Argentinian wooden furniture and staircases, parquet floors and libraries of English and French books. Comfortable tables and chairs offer a peaceful place to sit and read, and high glazed windows illuminate this elegant area. This is an excellent 3 star superior tourist class property. It has a good location in Paris and is recommended to lovers of art and literature.

Considering the price usually charged and the average quality of the hotels in Paris, we found it to be a great option.

The breakfast is nice, although it has place for only something like 20 persons at a time, so you might do well going before 9:30.

The reception has polite and nice employees.

The room was well decorated, clean, had a nice plasma tv (with a few English and Portuguese channels) and the bathroom was also nice. The street was pretty quiet.

Oh, and bear in mind that it is like 5 minutes walking from Notre Dame and 2 minutes from a cross line subway and train stations, that allow you to move easy to all monuments and points of interest. It is also right next to a university, so it is has fast eating options, and it seemed quite safe.

    We strongly recommend it.
