The Lungomare, Opatija's famous 12 kilometer-long coastal promenade, also leads to the center and offers an up-close view of the Adriatic Sea. The hotel's location is ideal for the traveler who enjoys being close to the hustle and bustle of the city, but also likes the calm and privacy of a beach vacation.
The private beach and indoor swimming pool with heated seawater belonging to this hotel in Opatija are major draws for the accommodation, which has 170 rooms. All hotel rooms have air-conditioning with adjustable air temperature, and the balconies in the Superior rooms offer magnificent views of the sea, just as you'd expect from a hotel located right on the coast.
In 2018, Hotel Istra has shone in a new splendour after the refurbishment of its lobby and rooms and an overall hotel upgrade with the aim of providing an impeccable and comfortable holiday experience. In 2019, we will continue with the renovation of the remaining parts of the hotel. Our objective is to provide all our guests with a new level of comfort and quality.
