Surrounded by the mountain scenery of the Ötz Valley, Hotel Falknerhof is located on the sunny Niederthai plateau. Each room offers views of the surrounding mountains. The traditionally furnished rooms are made of local wood, and most have a balcony. Half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet with organic products and fresh bread, traditional Tyrolean snacks in the afternoon, and a 5-course dinner. The Falknerhof features wood-panelled lounges, an open fireplace, and a terrace with panoramic mountain views. The spa area includes an indoor pool, a sauna, a steam bath, and a solarium. Hikes and mountain tours start right at the doorstep of the Falknerhof, which is located at 1,560 metres above sea level. The hotel has private fishing streams and hunting grounds, which can be explored with a professional hunter. In winter, the vicinity of Hotel Falknerhof offers 40 km of cross-country ski runs, untouched slopes for skiing tours, and long winter hiking trails. From 1 December 2016 to 30 April 2017 the Niederthai Card is included in the price offering free use of all lifts in Niederthai, cross-country skiing tracks, sledge tracks, a Stuibenfall lantern hike, a cross-country skiing lesson, biathlon once per person and the use of the public ski bus.
