Overlooking Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains, Matterhorn South Lodge offers a guest lounge with a gas fireplace, a TV room and a large shared patio. The property offers accommodation in two different buildings. The Lodge building offers private rooms with an ensuite bathroom, TV and fridge. All bed linen and towels provided. There is a communal kitchen in the Lodge building with an outside deck area with tables. The other building is the backpackers offering a mix of private rooms, mixed dormitory rooms and a female dormitory room. All rooms have access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Wanaka Matterhorn South Lodge is 3 minutes’ walk from Wanaka’s town centre, and a short stroll from the lake. There is a bus stop just a 5-minute walk away.
