A refined refuge located beside the Aventine Hill, one of the best locations in Rome just 250 meters from the Circus Maximus and less than 1 km away from the Flavio amphitheater, the Colosseo. The Hotel is an old style out of the ordinary reception welcomes you upon your arrival. The small concierge desk, in fact, leaves the leading role to the cocktail bar and its armchairs. Registration will therefore be as informal as it is welcoming and relaxing. SUPERIOR, DELUXE and SUITE rooms take shape on the three floors of the house. The presence in some of the austere marble fireplace, the state of the art armchairs and the rigorous design of the wood paneling of some rooms, find a more "liberal" effect thanks to the use of strong or soft pastel colors, played in contrast with the big leather’s headboards: lime walls with cyclamen headboard, midnight blue room with red headboard, the powder-colored one with mustard furnishings. All the rooms are characterized by the presence of b/ w photos, taken by Marcello Geppetti, between the 50s and 70s, a private collection with shots of the stars of international cinema in the Dolce Vita era. The permanent exhibition has been tailor-made for The Corner Roma from an archive that has over a million shots and which, for some months, has been traveling around the world. The Bar is in collaboration with MARCO MARTINI CHEF is opened from Monday to Saturday from 18:00 to closing.
