Green House is an environmentally friendly hostel with a décor based upon handcrafted furniture. The property is a 14-minute drive from the Peniche centre and includes a green garden, free WiFi, a buffet breakfast and a movie theatre. The harbour connecting Peniche with the sunny Berlengas Island is an 11-minute drive away. The island features beaches, hiking trails, boat tours and camping sites. The renowned Supertubos is considered one of the top surfing spots in Portugal, sited at a 15-minute drive from the hostel. The medieval town of Óbidos is a 22-minute drive and features traditional cobbled streets, ancient walls and shops selling the traditional Ginjinha beverage. An airport shuttle service is available, at a surcharge. The Lisbon International Airport is a 60-minute drive from the Green House.
