ריוקאן Sansou Nagisa

Featuring chic Japanese-style rooms and public baths, Sansou Nagisa was established over 400 years ago and is situated along Oyama River in the middle of nature. Its exterior features architecture that was created in the Meiji Era and guests can savour gourmet Japanese cuisine including soybean dishes with tofu made using water that is listed as one of Japan's 100 remarkable waters. Isehara Train Station is a 25-minute drive or bus ride away, and Oyama Afuri Shrine on Mount Oyama, a Japan Heritage site, is a 6-minute cable-car ride and 15-minute walk from the property. Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, rooms at Nagisa Sansou come with wide windows, a flat-screen TV and a seating area with a low table. They have a private toilet, while bathroom is shared with other guests. The property offers luggage storage services for free. Drink vending machines are available on site. Delicately prepared Japanese multi-course dinner is offered in the spacious dining room. Traditional Japanese breakfast is also served.
