ריוקאן Sansatei

Sansatei sits on the northern bank of Matsu River, a 60-minute drive from Sendai Shinkansen Station. Zao Fox Village is a 30-minute drive away. Situated in Miyagizao hills, all of the traditional rooms at Sansatei boasts views of the garden and the surrounding greeneries. The beautiful ryokan houses a public hot-spring bath which is available for free use between 11:00 and 09:30. There also are a lounge and a traditional garden for peaceful relaxation. All rooms here feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and Japanese futon mats. Each room is fitted with a fridge, safety deposit box and seating area with a TV. Free toiletries and yukata robes are provided. From the ryokan, Togatta Onsen Morning Market is a 15-minute drive and Sankai and Fudo waterfalls are a 20-minute drive away. Sansatei is a 20-minute drive from Tohokudo Shiroishi Interchange and a 60-minute drive from Sendai.
