Green House is an environmentally friendly hostel with a décor based upon handcrafted furniture. The property is a 14-minute drive from the Peniche centre and includes a green garden, free WiFi, a buffet breakfast and a movie theatre. The garden features a terrace and is ideal for sun lounging. Extra services can be arranged upon request, including yoga classes, massages, surfing lessons and boat tours to the Berlengas Island. The harbour connecting Peniche with the sunny Berlengas Island is an 11-minute drive away. The island features beaches, hiking trails, boat tours and camping sites. The renowned Supertubos is considered one of the top surfing spots in Portugal, sited at a 15-minute drive from the hostel. The medieval town of Óbidos is a 22-minute drive and features traditional cobbled streets, ancient walls and shops selling the traditional Ginjinha beverage. An airport shuttle service is available, at a surcharge. The Lisbon International Airport is a 60-minute drive from the Green House.
