Sandra's Backpackers is set in the centre of Thurso, the UK’s most northerly town. This simple hostel offers rooms and dorms with free Wi-Fi, shared bathrooms, free bed linen and towels. Each of the dorms and rooms at Sandra’s Backpackers has a TV, and either a double bed or bunk beds. You will have access to a shared kitchen, a dining room and a common room with a wide-screen TV, a DVD player and Wi-Fi. The hostel also has a snack bar. Staff can provide information on the surrounding area. You can visit nearby Viking settlements and Caithness’ dramatic cliffs and coastline. You can go surfing, cycling and walking in the area. You can catch a ferry to the Orkney Islands from Thurso. Wick is a 30-minute drive away and Dornach can be reached in 90 minutes by car.
