Originally built in 1870, the Luccombe Hall has large gardens with a giant chess and draughts set, a mini putting green and an outdoor children’s play area. A set of steps leads directly down to the beach. Inside, the Luccombe Hall Country House Hotel has a spa bath, a sauna and a games room. The Grand View Restaurant and the Grand View Tea Gardens have views across Sandown Bay. The lounge serves sandwiches and light snacks throughout the day. The Bishops Bar and Snug is a relaxing area offering a roaring open fire in winter.
