This historic hotel is located in the picturesque Loreley Valley in the center of Bacharach. The Gelber Hof was built in 1728 by the Mades family as the first hotel-guesthouse in the town of Bacharach, and has retained its historic appearance to this day. The beautiful town of Bacharach was often visited by Victor Hugo, Clemens Brentano and Achim von Arnim, and since there was only one hotel in Bacharach at that time - the Gelber Hof - then they most likely stayed here! The rooms of the hotel are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and at the same time have retained their historical authenticity, which is not found anywhere else. From the windows of Hotel Gelber Hof you can admire the vineyards, Stahleck Castle or the old town.
